SCULPTRA™

Apply ice packs to the treated area intermittently for the first 24 hours after treatment to minimize swelling; avoid any direct contact of the ice with the skin.
Thoroughly massage the treatment areas three times daily for 5 minutes for the first 21 days after each treatment session to distribute the product evenly.
Minimize exposure of the treated area to sun and ultraviolet lamp exposure until any initial swelling and redness has resolved.
Sculptra™ may cause redness, swelling, or bruising when first injected into the skin. Bruising may last for up to two weeks.
Treatment with Sculptra™ may infrequently result in very small bumps called “papules” in the treatment area. Typically, these papules are beneath the skin surface and are not visible, do not cause symptoms, and may be noticed only when pressing on the treatment area.
Please call the office if you experience any unusual redness or swelling or if you have any additional questions regarding your treatment with Sculptra™.
Do not drink alcohol or take aspirin or aspirin containing products for 2-3 days after treatment.
It takes 3-6 weeks before the effects of Sculptra® are seen. The change will be very gradual and you may not see the difference until your next appointment when another photo will be taken.
