- Acne Scars – Our physicians are recognized world leaders in the management of scars. SkinCare Physicians has the most recent and innovative techniques and equipment needed to treat acne scarring.
- Aesthetics – SkinCare aestheticians will evaluate your skin and develop a customized program for treatment, enhancement, and maintenance of your skin. Our aestheticians perform skin care treatments that incorporate the most advanced techniques that are available in the aesthetic industry today.
- Aging Skin – Our skin changes as we age. There are now many new and innovative anti-aging treatments available that provide a more youthful appearance. SkinCare Physicians provides reviews of several cosmetic procedures, including medications (tretinoin, Latisse), botulinum toxin (Botox), dermal fillers (Restylane, Juvederm), and laser and light treatments, such Intense Pulsed Light (IPL). Learn more about Aging Skin from the AAD.
- Book: The Youth Equation – Renowned dermatologist Jeffrey Dover, M.D. has appeared on CNN, The Today Show, and in the New York Times, and in his new book, The Youth Equation, he shows that it's not people's real age that matters, it's their skin's virtual age (SVA). The book reveals Dr. Dover's unique program for looking ten years younger--at any age.
- Contour Threadlift – This minimally invasive alternative to a facelift, the Contour Threadlift uses tiny incisions and strong sutures to lift and reposition aging skin. This is a remarkable advance in the treatment of facial aging, and allows many patients who did not want to have a facelift to finally achieve the results they are looking for.
- Fat Transplantation – For patients who desire a permanent, natural appearing result, autologous fat transplantation is a superb treatment option. Fat transplants are used to fill in contour defects, such as the groove that runs from the nose to the corner of the mouth (nasolabial folds), cheeks, temples, jaw line, and around the corners of the mouth, which often begin to sag with age.
- Fractional Resurfacing – Fractional resurfacing, using a Fraxel Laser, is used to improve overall skin color, tone and texture, and is extremely useful for people who have brown discoloration from sun-induced freckling. The Fraxel laser is also used for fine to moderate wrinkling as well as acne scarring.
- Hair Transplantation – A thorough personal and family history of hair loss is taken to allow our physicians to intelligently estimate your future pattern of hair loss. Hair color, texture, and density will be assessed, and your expectations discussed in detail by your surgeon. You may be placed on Propecia.
- Laser Hair Removal – Long-pulsed Ruby, Alexandrite, Diode, and Nd:YAG lasers, as well as intense pulsed light sources, are state-of-the art devices that effectively remove unwanted facial and body hair. SkinCare Physicians has all of the effective FDA approved devices for hair removal using lasers and light.
- Laser Resurfacing – Members of the SkinCare Physicians team are international experts and have pioneered and developed the newer C02 and Erbium:YAG lasers which are used to treat facial wrinkles around the mouth and the eyes, and on the forehead and cheeks.
- Liposuction – Liposuction is a safe and effective treatment for unwanted fat. Beautiful new contours can be created by skilled surgeons in less than 3 hours as an outpatient procedure.
- Photopneumatic Therapy (Isolaz) for Acne – Isolaz uses a new, innovative technology called photopneumatics (photo=light; pneumatic=vacuum/ suction) which is a fast and effective approach to the treatment of acne. Treatments are painless and completely non-invasive.
- Photorejuvenation – Photorejuvenation treatments are full face, neck, arm, hand or chest treatments using pulses of visible light that improve redness and flushing, as well as the visible signs of sun damage and aging such as brown age spots and skin blotchiness.
- Sclerotherapy – Performed on an outpatient basis, sclerotherapy involves the injection of a sclerosing solution, (such as hypertonic saline, glycerin or Sotradecol) into superficial leg veins, also known as spider veins, telangiectasia, or star burst blemishes.
- Skin Virtual Age (SVA) Quiz – What is your skin's Virtual Age? Take this quiz, and in less than three minutes, you’ll know. This is your tool for beginning to piece together your personalized anti-aging prescription—and start changing the face you see in the mirror every morning. The quiz is also found in Jeffrey Dover M.D.'s book, "The Youth Equation."
- Soft Tissue Augmentation – The treatments of soft tissue atrophy are collectively referred to as soft tissue augmentation. SkinCare Physicians offer a number of treatment options that are designed to afford our patients with a variety of choices to tailor treatment to their individual needs.
- Thermage – ThermaCool is a novel, safe radio-frequency device that causes tightening of skin without surgery or injury to the skin’s top layer (epidermis). It was developed as the result of extensive research by Thermage, Inc.
